You Say Shameless, I Say Shamless

Shameless, shamless, shlamshlame, whatever. Sorry for the misspelling in the heading of the post below; but it does seem a bit Freudian, in that my writings indeed are devoid of sham (in my humble view, anyway), while the rantings of the Levin/Rockefeller crowd are anything but.

The real certainty of life is the daily Beltway descent into ever-deeper depths of absurdity, the latest manifestation of which is Senator Levin’s characterization of the IG report as a “devastating condemnation” of intelligence manipulation “by high ranking officials” of DoD. Oh please. Levin is blatantly manipulating the words of the IG report so as to accuse others of manipulation. He should be ashamed of himself.

Fine article, Ben. But Sen. Levin is quite proud of himself, I'm sure. The scary part is that when he read the IG report, I imagine he thought it did devestatingly condemn Doug Feith, et al.

When it comes to Democrats, I never blame disingenuousness when self-delusion will suffice.
