Joe Frickin' TRIPPI Blogged Here

Knock me over with a feather. Just so nobody misses it, you can go down to the post about Maryland Democrats and Lt. Governor Michael Steele. Trippi appears to have been the victim of some pretty aggressively interpretive reportage. First, Newsweek, now Joe Trippi.

Howard Dean, are we gonna have to write something questionable about you to get you to visit the Reform Club?!!!

That's the genius of Joe Trippi...he's a modern day Kilroy. He knows that when the rest of the world discovers you guys, they'll look and see that...

TRIPPI WAS HERE!

Its about the conversation -- the cool thing about blogs like this -- is that we can have a conversation and that resonable people can see when something is overblown or just plain wrong. My problem now is the people who read the Washington Times but will never be able to find the correction. Maybe if the issue wasn't about race it wouldn't bother me so much -- but it really bothers me that people were led to believe that I condoned behavior I find repugnant.

Thanks again
Joe Trippi

Right. That's one reason a liberal like me hangs out here. You'll find that the conservatives here are reasonable people. They seem willing to listen to my points. While at times it can be aggressively partisan (heck I can be too), there is generally respect.

I firmly believe that some of the great divide between the right wing and the left wing can be filled in if we try to argue ideas rather than engage in name calling.
