[A] Blumenthal v. Trump (DDC/DC Cir/US)
Filed in the trial court (DDCJudge Emmet G. Sullivan) on June 14, 2017. 
On October 13, 2020, 3 years and 4 months after the case was filed in the district court, the Supreme Court DENIED Plaintffs’ petition for certiorarino reported dissent in connection with the failure to grant cert.
The President/DOJ has prevailed.

[B] Trump v. CREW (SDNY/2d Cir/US):
Filed in the trial court (SDNYJudge Abrams (recused)then Judge Daniels) on Jan 23, 2017. 
On January 23, 2021, it will be over 4.0 years ago. 
Supreme Court Order List (January 25, 2021): The petition for a writ of certiorari is granted. The judgment is vacated, and the case is remanded to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit with instructions to dismiss the case as moot. See United States v. Munsingwear, Inc., 340 U. S. 36 (1950).

Filed in the trial court (D MdJudge Messitte) on June 12, 2017. 
December 12, 2020 will be 3.5 years.

Afterwards, in response to a DOJ motion to stay discovery, on July 9, 2020, a stay was granted by 4th Circuit in regard to district court proceedings/discovery for the official capacity claim (but not for the individual capacity claim). 

DOJ filed a (second) motion to stay discovery in regard to the official capacity claim before the district court (D MdJudge Messitte). It was fully briefed on: July 3, 2020. This motion was arguably adjourned by the 4th Circuit’s stay.

May 7, 2021: 44 weeks following the close of briefing on the motion. Case dismissed by District court on May 11, 2021 without action on motion.
