My wife has a copy of the latest People magazine laying around and I noticed that Matthew McConaughey is the Sexiest Man Alive for 2005. In the issue, the magazine lists the winners of the honor for each year. For some reason, they did not name a winner for 1994. Can anyone explain why there was no Sexiest Man Alive for 1994?
I got's to know.

If there's no World Series, there can't be a World's Sexiest Man. Simple.
The obvious explanation is that it was the work of the Zionist entity.
ימח שמו (yimach shemo)!
Yes, they were protesting the fact that Shimon Peres was overlooked.
I know the answer. Given that power is an aphrodesiac, it is clear that Newt Gingrich was the sexiest man alive in 1994. Rather than acknowledge the plain fact, People magazine probably just opted for a cold shower and avoided the topic altogether.
I was 24 in 1994, so I remember that year quite clearly. It was a very, very un-sexy year. It started about January 3rd. That morning, it was palpable. I was still in college, and all the other students could feel it, too. A number of young women I know immediately went home and put on more clothing. I remember there was a lot of anxiety about it as well. We were all incredibly worried that this un-sexiness would continue indefinitely. 'Round mid-December, the anxiety started to dissipate, but by then it was too late I think for People to choose a man.
You probably don't believe me, but remember, "Forrest Gump" won best picture that year. Let's hope it never happens again. Yuck.
Hehe. Well done, Mr. Merrick.
I think Hunter got it right about Gingrich. It's all of a fabric.
So that's where the MIA SMA was coming from.
Tlaloc, a google check claims Pitt was it, but he was actually the SMA in 1995 and later in 2000, I think. The info you have is apparently wrong, because he's a two-time winner, not a three time winner.
I'm inclined to accept Mr. Knapsakker's story.
Just wait. Eventually, some People magazine intern will show up and fix it for us.
He could use a screen name, like TLALOC!
