(I myself thought Clinton's removal would be, um, disproportionate.)<BR/><BR/>Al Gore would trade his vote, sure. For some lousy TV time.<BR/><BR/>(Reminds one of "A Man For All Seasons," when Thomas More learns Richard Rich sold him out for the reward of becoming attorney general of Wales: "It profits a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world ... but for Wales, Richard?")<BR/><BR/>But it will be interesting to see whether Lieberman, once re-elected, withholds his "party loyalty" on the routine stuff.
