Happy Birthday, Mr. President

Today is Ronald Reagan's 105th birthday.  I happened to be in the neighborhood last week with one of my blogbrothers, so we stopped by to pay our respects.

You left the nation far better than you found it, prosperous and with the end of the Cold War and the monstrosity of the Soviet Empire mere months away. Well done, sir. Sleep well.

Anen to that. Reagan was a great leader, both because he was a visionary and because he was prudential. He focused his administration on key problems, not attempting to implement his entire agenda, but taking care of the major issues of the day, while leaving to future generations to complete the work of reforming and reinvigorating our Republic.
