Decision 2008

From WLS over at Patterico, and just too delicious not to pass on:

A caller into the Dennis Miller Show this morning had a particularly insightful view into the coming general election choice that will be before the country:

The Dems offer a witch who is a lawyer and who is married to a lawyer, or a lawyer who is married to a witch who is a lawyer.

One of those will be matched up against a war hero who is married to a hot babe who owns a beer distributorship.

How hard is that choice?

"...a witch..."

Not once, but wice? You have got to be kidding. Whoever said that is a douchebag. If this kind of thinking is what this election turns on, we're all hosed.

I acknowledge your objection, James, and "witch" has no place in serious talk.

But this wasn't serious. We all got to lighten up once in awhile.

In fairness, then, this:

Letterman joked during his monologue that the senator from Arizona reminded him of “the guy at the hardware store who makes the keys” and of “the guy who can’t stop talking about how well his tomatoes are doing,” and “the guy who points out the spots they missed at the car wash.”
