SOS: Stuck On Stupid

The great General Honore has coined the ideal phrase to describe the diehard Bush-obsessives: "You're stuck on stupid, Reporter!"

If you have not seen or heard the soundbite of the General delivering that line during today's press conference about evacuation plans in advance of Hurricane Rita, you need to track it down. It is a treasure of our time, not to be missed.

If I can find a .wav file of it, maybe I'll use it for the Windows Critical Stop sound (I'm currently using the Dean Scream, which is a little disruptive when I'm on the computer late at night after John's gone to bed.)

This sounds an awful lot like you are admitting Bush is a dim bulb. Not that that is news to anyone I mean here's a guy who boasts that he hardly reads and pays no attention to the news.

Somehow compared with, say, kennedy who was renown for reading several different newspapaers at breakfast he seems like a total imbecile.

by the way it turns out he didn't coin the phrase, rather it's a common part of military lingo as well as street lingo.
